  • 2 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), chopped
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 6 large curry sausages
  • e.g. ketchup (curry ketchup)
  • e.g. curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

For the sauce, dice the onions and garlic and fry in a pan with olive oil until golden brown. Stir in the tomato paste and passata, then reduce the heat to a low setting. Add the sugar and Italian herbs and simmer for 20 minutes. Once cooked, add the spices. Set the pan aside and let the sauce steep. For the pizza dough, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until dough forms and let rest for 15 minutes. Then roll it out on a baking tray. This dough will make enough for two pizza trays. Spread the sauce thinly over the dough and sprinkle with grated cheese. Slice the currywurst and arrange it on top of the grated cheese. Spoon the curry ketchup over the currywurst and dust with curry powder. Now bake the pizza in the oven at 180°C (fan oven) for 20 minutes.
