Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 piece(s) feta cheese, large
  • 2 sprigs of oregano
  • Olive oil, Cretan
  • Pepper, black from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the tomatoes and feta into 1/2 cm thick slices. Brush a baking dish (approx. 20 cm in diameter) with olive oil. Layer one layer of tomatoes, then cover with another layer of feta. Layer another layer of tomatoes, then another layer of feta. Sprinkle with oregano, drizzle with olive oil, and season with pepper. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in the oven at 220°C for approximately 15-20 minutes, remove the aluminum foil, and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
