super chocolatey muffins

Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa, and chocolate shavings. Add the butter and buttermilk. Then beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy and fold in. Cut the Bounty cookies into small pieces and add to the mixture. Spoon everything into a muffin tin lined with paper baking cups. It’s best to use two paper baking cups at a time, as this makes it easier to remove the muffins later. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake the muffins for about 25-30 minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes. If you like, you can drizzle the muffins with whipped cream before serving, then drizzle with a little chocolate sauce and decorate with the mini Bounty cookies. It tastes incredibly delicious and is also ideal for a child’s birthday party.
