Braised Chicken Legs in Buttermilk

The perfect braised chicken legs in buttermilk recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 5 St Chicken legs
  • 2 St Onions
  • 2 tbsp Vegeta
  • 1 tbsp Dried thyme
  • 2 tsp Curry
  • Saffron threads
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 500 ml Buttermilk
  • 250 g Chow Mein Noodels
  1. Separate thighs from lower legs, wash, pat dry, set aside.
  2. Dice the onions and sauté in plenty of cooking oil. Add the chicken legs and fry well on all sides.
  3. Add vegeta, thyme, curry, saffron threads.
  4. When the meat is seared on all sides, deglaze with the buttermilk.
  5. Now gently simmer for about 60 minutes.
  6. Chow Prepare my noodles according to the instructions on the packet.
  7. Mix the flour with water, add to the sauce and reduce again. Finished.
  8. Serve with the noodels, bon appetit.
