Braised tomatoes with egg

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg tomatoes
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 large onions
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 50 g margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Sauté the onions in the margarine until translucent. Dice the tomatoes and add them, simmering until the liquid is gone. Beat the eggs and pour them over the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper, stir everything thoroughly, and let it set. Serve with white bread or baguette.
