Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 turkey leg(s) (thigh)
- 1 large onion(s)
- 4 prunes
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 cup crème fraîche, or sour cream
- 1 bottle of Cremefine
- pepper
- Salt
- Butter, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Season the turkey thigh with pepper and salt and brown in butter. Briefly brown the onions and garlic. Place everything in a roasting pan and fill with a little water. Mix the ketchup, crème fraîche, and crème fraîche and pour over the turkey leg. Add the prunes and braise in the oven at approximately 160°C (convection oven) for 90 minutes. Baste with the liquid occasionally. Rosemary potatoes go perfectly with this dish.
