Braised Turkey Thigh

The perfect braised turkey thigh recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Turkey thigh
  • 2 Red peppers
  • 1 Zucchini fresh
  • 2 Fresh onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Can Chunky tomatoes
  • 1 a cup Crème fraîche with herbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Fresh oregano
  1. Wash and clean the turkey leg. Release the bone. Season the meat on both sides with salt and pepper. Tie it into a roll with kitchen thread. Heat 2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil in a pan and sear the leg on all sides for approx. 20 minutes.
  2. Clean the peppers and zucchini and cut into bite-sized pieces. Finely dice the onions and the clove of garlic. Sweat the onion and garlic cubes in a casserole.
  3. Add the pepper and zucchini pieces as well as the chunky tomatoes and oregano. Place the turkey thigh on the bed of vegetables and stew in the oven preheated to 200 ° for about 30 minutes. Stir in the creme fraich and arrange on a plate.
