Bratwurst Cake
The perfect bratwurst cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
ground
- 250 g Whole grain toast
- 50 g Butter
Covering
- 4 Thuringian sausages
- 60 g Cooked ham
- 125 ml Milk
- 125 ml Cream
- Salt
- Pepper
- Nutmeg
- 3 teaspoon Roasted onions
- 60 g Grated cheese
ground
- Remove the crust from the toast, cut in half and place in a greased tart tin.
- Melt the butter and drizzle over the toast.
Covering
- Shape the sausage into balls and distribute on the toast.
- Dice the boiled ham and spread on the cake.
- Now mix the milk with the cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg and slowly pour over the topping.
- Finally, spread the fried onion and cheese over it and put it in the 200c. warm oven for 20-25 minutes
- Take the sausage cake out of the oven, let it rest for a while and then cut it into pieces
- Put on a plate and serve with some white coleslaw or salad to your liking — Enjoy your meal; 🙂
