Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 300 g Bratwurst – mass or Mett
- 125 ml milk
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
- Parsley, finely chopped
- 30 g butter
- 1 egg(s)
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 ½ liters of meat broth

Stir the sausage mixture with the milk until smooth and season with salt and pepper. Sauté the finely diced onion and parsley in the melted butter and add to the sausage mixture. Gradually add the breadcrumbs and egg and season with nutmeg. Cut dumplings from the dough and let them simmer in the boiling soup for 10 to 15 minutes. We like these dumplings with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes, with a casserole of white beans and tomato sauce, or as a filling garnish in a nice beef broth, etc.
