Ingredients

  • 4 Coarse bratwurst / coarse pork sausage
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 400 g Tagliatelle fresh

Cream sauce:

  • 200 ml Cream 30% fat
  • 1 Big onion
  • 2 Garlic clove peeled and bumped
  • 200 g Diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 15 g Fresh ginger
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper from the grinder

Instructions

Preparation:

  • Sear the sausage in a coated pan with the oil (DO NOT fry it through) and remove it from the pan (cover and set aside).

Tomato-ginger-cream sauce:

  • For the ginger sauce, simmer the onion rings with the garlic in the still hot (medium heat) pan until they are translucent. In the meantime, grate the fresh ginger finely (you can also dice it very small) and add it. Now pour the honey over the steamed onions and stir. Top up with the cream and add the tomato pieces (fitets without skin / seeds). Let everything simmer for about 5 minutes. Cut the sausage into bite-sized pieces and return to the pan with the meat juice. Finally, add the fresh tagliatelle (al dente pre-cooked pasta is also possible) and let everything simmer for another 5 minutes with a lid.

Tip 😉

  • Stir every now and then otherwise the dish will burn in the pan. If the sauce has gotten too thick, no problem: bring the sauce to the right consistency with a little hot water.
