Brazilian Coffee Liqueur

The perfect brazilian coffee liqueur recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 tablespoon Brazilian coffee beans
  • 350 gr Extra fine sugar
  • 0,5 piece Vanilla pod shell without the pulp!
  • 2 piece Orange / orange
  • 750 ml Dry red wine
  • 125 ml White rum
  1. Peel the oranges thinly. The oranges themselves are not needed, so squeeze them out and enjoy the juice!
  2. Put the orange peel and all other ingredients in a glass vessel, stir well and close with aluminum foil or a suitable lid.
  3. Place the container in a warm place for 2 days and stir well in between.
  4. Sieve the liquor mixture and fill it into well-sealable bottles. A great gift idea or the basis for a “Mousse au Liqueur de Brazil”
  5. The liqueur is sufficient for approx. 25-30 liqueur glasses.
  6. Attention! Never throw away scraped vanilla pods! You can still “get” a lot out of the bowls! I always keep the pods in the original glass tubes so they don’t dry out so quickly.
