Brazilian Coffee Liqueur
The perfect brazilian coffee liqueur recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 tablespoon Brazilian coffee beans
- 350 gr Extra fine sugar
- 0,5 piece Vanilla pod shell without the pulp!
- 2 piece Orange / orange
- 750 ml Dry red wine
- 125 ml White rum
- Peel the oranges thinly. The oranges themselves are not needed, so squeeze them out and enjoy the juice!
- Put the orange peel and all other ingredients in a glass vessel, stir well and close with aluminum foil or a suitable lid.
- Place the container in a warm place for 2 days and stir well in between.
- Sieve the liquor mixture and fill it into well-sealable bottles. A great gift idea or the basis for a “Mousse au Liqueur de Brazil”
- The liqueur is sufficient for approx. 25-30 liqueur glasses.
- Attention! Never throw away scraped vanilla pods! You can still “get” a lot out of the bowls! I always keep the pods in the original glass tubes so they don’t dry out so quickly.
