Brazilian Layered Salad

The perfect brazilian layered salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 piece Iceberg lettuce
  • 5 piece Tomato
  • 1 piece Lime
  • 1 piece Vegetable onion
  • 2 piece Clove of garlic
  • 600 g Mixed minced meat
  • 250 g Black beans
  • 0,5 bunch Coriander
  • 1 piece Chilli green
  • 200 g Canned corn
  • 400 g Cream, sour
  • 200 g Grated cheese
  • 1 bag Tortilla chips
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  1. Cut the iceberg lettuce into small pieces, dice the tomatoes, onions and both cloves of garlic.
  2. Fry the onions in half in two pans and add a clove of garlic to the onions in a pan. Fry the beans together in the pan with onions and garlic. Fry the minced meat in the other pan with the onions. Season both with salt and pepper.
  3. For the salsa, mix the diced tomatoes with the lime juice, the finely chopped coriander, chilli and the second clove of garlic.
  4. For the layered salad, first put the iceberg lettuce in a glass bowl and distribute it. Layer the tomatoes, minced meat, corn and beans evenly one after the other.
  5. Finally spread the sour cream on the bean layer, sprinkle the cheese over it and decorate with the tortilla chips.
  6. Serve the salad with the salsa. Enjoy your meal!
