Veal Steaks
The perfect veal steaks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 marinated Veal steaks from the butcher
- 20 g Clarified butter
- 20 g Steak seasoning
- Preheat the oven to 100 degrees using a suitable mold. Halve the steaks if necessary (mine were very large – too big for one person); Heat the clarified butter in a pan until a wooden spoon held in it forms bubbles.
- Put the steaks in and cook for one minute on each side on the highest setting … no longer !! Immediately transfer to the oven dish, finish cooking for 15 to 20 minutes with time and calm and only now season with a little steak powder.
- I put my veal steaks on a spicy Peperonata ** and served it that way, it went very well together. The meat was wonderfully tender and still pink inside, as we love it so much.
