Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 liter of milk
- 2 eggs, including the yolk
- 1 can coconut milk
- 1 can/n condensed milk with sugar (Milkmaid)
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 pack of ladyfingers
- 1 bag of desiccated coconut
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 40 minutes
Mix the milk, egg yolk, coconut milk, condensed milk, and cornstarch and heat gently, stirring constantly. Do not boil; heat for about 30 minutes. During this time, coat the sponge fingers in the milk and place them in a baking dish. Pour the warm cream mixture over them. Sprinkle with desiccated coconut. Allow to cool and store in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
