Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 60 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- Salt
- 1 pinch of nutmeg, grated
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped, to taste
- 1 liter meat broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Beat the eggs and butter until fluffy, stir in enough breadcrumbs to form a smooth dough, add salt, nutmeg, and parsley, if desired, and mix well. Form small ping-pong ball-sized dumplings and add them to the boiling broth. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with chives.
