Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 rolls, stale
- 2 sauce gingerbread
- ¼ liter of milk
- 2 egg yolks
- salt and pepper
- e.g. parsley
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
with gingerbread sauce
Whisk the milk with the egg yolk. Cut the rolls and gingerbread into small cubes and pour the egg mixture over them. Let them soften briefly and add the parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Knead thoroughly and form medium-sized dumplings. Cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. The water should be just bubbling. Pairs well with game.
