Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 40 g yeast, fresh
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • ¼ liter milk, lukewarm
  • 100 g onion(s), diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), crushed
  • 50 g margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt
  • nutmeg
  • 1 tsp anise
  • ½ tsp fennel seeds
  • 4 tbsp dill
  • ½ tsp rosemary
  • Fat for the pots

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Knead together the flour, yeast, milk, and sugar. Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes. Add all the other ingredients except the anise and knead in. Cover and let rise for 15 minutes. Pour the dough into two greased terracotta flower pots. Cover and let rise for another 20 minutes. Then sprinkle with anise. Bake on the lowest rack in a preheated oven at 225°C for about 35 minutes. Let stand in the switched-off oven for another 30 minutes.
