Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 500 g stale bread(s) (brown, white, toast bread of your choice), cut into small pieces
  • 125 g ham, cut into small pieces
  • n. B. Cheese, grated
  • e.g. herbs (parsley, thyme, basil)
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Whisk the milk and eggs together, soak the bread. Squeeze out the excess water, stir in the sliced ​​ham and grated cheese. Season with herbs, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into patties and fry in batches in hot oil. Serve with a green salad.
