Ingredients

  • 350 g Wheat flour
  • 150 g Spelt flour
  • 1 cube Yeast
  • 300 ml Lukewarm water
  • 30 ml Lukewarm milk
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs, dried
  • 2 tbsp Sun-Dried tomatoes
  • 120 g Sheep milk cheese
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0,25 tsp Sugar

Instructions

  • Put the flour in a bowl, add the yeast, pour the lukewarm liquids on the yeast, add a quarter teaspoon of sugar and put the salt in another place. Mix a little and let stand for about 10 minutes. Then add the tomatoes, herbs and onion powder
  • Process everything with the dough hook into a smooth dough. Let stand until the volume has almost doubled. Finally, carefully stir in the finely chopped sheep cheese. Let rise for at least 45 minutes.
  • Then shape the bread from the dough and let it stand again in a warm place. Loaf needs to enlarge again. Then place in the preheated oven and bake at 185 degrees for about 50 minutes.
  • Finally, I brush the bread a few times with cold water. But you can also put a fireproof bowl with water in the oven.
  • This bread is an ideal side dish for grilling. Tastes just great with homemade herb butter.
  • The specified preparation time is roughly inclusive of the walking times.
