Ingredients

  • 6 slices White bread or yeast plait
  • 30 g Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 450 ml Milk
  • 90 g Brown sugar, or normal
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 0,5 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 200 g Fruit

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Break the bread into pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
  • Melt the butter and drizzle over the bread. Mix the eggs with the milk and sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon and pour over bread or yeast plaited as well. Press down the mass a little that it can soak up.
  • The fruit (I had pineapple) can also be spread over the casserole with cherries, currants or the like and bake for 45 minutes until the mixture has set and is slightly browned on top. By the way, it also tastes very good cold 🙂
