Breaded fish dumplings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large fish fillets
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 g cooked ham
  • 150 g Emmental cheese
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 6 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Fish cordon bleu

Wash the fish fillets, pat dry, and marinate in lemon juice for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Cut the ham and Emmental cheese into strips. Layer the fillets and fold them together. Beat the egg with milk and dip the fish in it. Then coat in breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil for a good 5 minutes on each side. Garnish the fish with lemon slices, caviar, and sprigs of parsley. Serve with baguettes or potatoes.
