Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pork schnitzels, approx. 2 cm thick
- 4 slice(s) ham, cooked
- 2 cheeses (hand cheese)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 egg(s)
- Flour
- Breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut a pocket into the schnitzel. Season the schnitzels inside and out with pepper and salt. Dice the hand cheese. Fill each schnitzel with a slice of ham and the hand cheese and seal it tightly with toothpicks. Coat the filled schnitzels one after the other in flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Fry them all over in olive oil and butter until golden brown. Serve with fried potatoes, salad, and, of course, a glass of Äppler (apple).
