Breakfast: Nut Pancakes
The perfect breakfast: nut pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Spelled flour type 630
- 50 g Ground almonds
- 1 Msp Tartar baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 3 Pc. Eggs
- 470 ml Milk
- Butter for frying
- Mix the ingredients into a smooth, liquid batter. Heat butter or other fat in a pan and fry the dough in portions over medium heat to make pancakes. Turn when small bubbles form on the surface.
- The pancakes can be filled as you like, both sweet and savory.
Chocolate hazelnut variant:
- Use ground hazelnuts instead of almonds and coat the finished pancakes with a chocolate-hazelnut cream (recipe for this in my cookbook) and roll up. If you want, you can sprinkle roasted and chopped hazelnuts on the chocolate cream.
