Breakfast: Nut Pancakes

The perfect breakfast: nut pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 50 g Ground almonds
  • 1 Msp Tartar baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 Pc. Eggs
  • 470 ml Milk
  • Butter for frying
  1. Mix the ingredients into a smooth, liquid batter. Heat butter or other fat in a pan and fry the dough in portions over medium heat to make pancakes. Turn when small bubbles form on the surface.
  2. The pancakes can be filled as you like, both sweet and savory.

Chocolate hazelnut variant:

  1. Use ground hazelnuts instead of almonds and coat the finished pancakes with a chocolate-hazelnut cream (recipe for this in my cookbook) and roll up. If you want, you can sprinkle roasted and chopped hazelnuts on the chocolate cream.
