Ingredients

  • 200 g Oatmeal
  • 40 g Date sugar
  • 2 tsp Tartar baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 175 g Natural yoghurt
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 3 Pc. Eggs
  • 1 Pc. Organic lemon
  • 2 tbsp Poppy

Instructions

  • Grind the oatmeal into flour and mix with salt, poppy seeds, date sugar and baking powder. Whisk the eggs with milk and yogurt. Rub the zest of the lemon and add. Mix the dry with the wet ingredients and stir briefly to form a smooth dough. If it is too dry, just add a dash of milk.
  • Let the dough soak for a few minutes and then bake in the waffle iron according to the instructions for waffles. The amount makes waffles for approx. 2 - 3 people. The amount of waffles depends on the size of the waffles. They keep for a few days in the refrigerator and can simply be briefly warmed up in the toaster until they are crispy. Freezing is also not a problem.
