Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 8 tbsp, heaped spelt bran
  • 2 tbsp, heaped oats
  • 1 tbsp, heaped raisins
  • 1 piece(s) of fruit, e.g. banana, pear or apple
  • 1 tsp, heaped agave syrup
  • 150 ml plant milk (plant drink), e.g. oat or rice milk
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp, heaped nuts, ground or whole
  • 1 tbsp, heaped jam
  • 2 tbsp, heaped banana chips

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

First, chop up the fruit and place it in a cereal bowl with the raisins. Then add the oats and spelt bran. You can use up to 15 tablespoons of spelt bran, depending on your needs or hunger. It just needs to be a porridge-like mass. Then add the plant-based milk until a porridge forms. Finally, season the porridge with cinnamon and 1-2 teaspoons of agave syrup. Mix everything well. If desired, you can add nuts, jam, and banana chips to enhance the porridge’s crunch. This recipe is also perfect as an afternoon snack; I like to mix in some lemon juice with the pulp and heat the breakfast porridge in the oven or, alternatively, in the microwave.
