Breakfast: Turmeric and Honey Granola

The perfect breakfast: turmeric and honey granola recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Also:

  • 60 g Almonds
  • 15 g Sesame
  • 120 g Coarse oatmeal
  • 60 g Unsweetened applesauce
  • 0,5 tsp Ground ginger
  • 0,5 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0,5 tsp Ground turmeric
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tbsp Melt coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  1. Chop the almonds and pumpkin seeds and mix with all the other ingredients to form a sticky mass. Place everything on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 165 degrees fan-assisted for about 20 minutes. Stir well once halfway through.
  2. Remove the tray and stir in the raisins. That’s why I only add them at the end so that they don’t burn. Let the granola cool down well before consuming.
  3. Stored in an airtight container, the granola has a longer shelf life. It tastes good straight or with milk and yoghurt. It is also suitable as a topping for bowls.
