Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 170 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs
- 350 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 2 tbsp rum
- 125 ml water, approx.
Instructions

My favorite waffle batter
Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Then add the eggs and gradually the other ingredients, mixing with a hand mixer or food processor. The batter should pull off the spoon and form a thick layer. Preheat the waffle iron and drop a scant spoonful of batter into the center of the waffle iron. Bake for a few minutes until the waffle is the desired golden color. Place the waffles on a wire rack until ready to serve to keep them nice and crispy. We like to serve them with ice cream and/or fruit salad. Makes about 15 waffles.
