Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg broccoli
  • 70 g butter
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean the broccoli and trim off any tough ends. Cut the stalks lengthwise, either once or crosswise. Arrange the broccoli upright in a pot, heads up, and cover only the stalks with boiling salted water. Cook, partially covered, over medium heat for 20 minutes, topping up the water once if necessary and sprinkling salt over the heads. Remove from the cooking water, add the butter and lemon juice to a hot bowl, and drizzle with the juices from the bottom of the pot and serve.
