Broccoli and feta cheese casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1,200 g broccoli
  • Salt
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 75 g sheep’s cheese
  • 2 tbsp walnuts, chopped
  • pepper
  • 1 bunch of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash and trim the broccoli, and divide it into florets. Steam the stalks in lightly salted water for about 10 minutes. Add the florets after 5 minutes. Bring the heavy cream to a boil, then melt the crumbled cheese in it. Add the walnuts. Season to taste. Place the broccoli in a greased ovenproof dish, pour the sauce over it, and bake briefly in the oven. Sprinkle with finely chopped chives. Serve with buttered potatoes. Or double the sauce and add the cooked potatoes to the casserole dish.
