Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 m.-large white cabbage
- 2 onions
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- ½ liter broth
- Salt
- pepper
- possibly caraway, ground, if required
- Oil for frying
- cornstarch if needed

quick version of the classic
Finely chop the white cabbage. Peel and dice the onion. Heat the oil in a roasting pan and fry the minced meat until crumbly. Then add the diced onion and the white cabbage. Fry until the cabbage begins to brown. Deglaze with the stock. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and ground caraway, if desired, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Finally, thicken with a little cornstarch, if desired, and season to taste. This dish goes well with boiled potatoes or white bread.
