Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g spelt flour, T 630
- 1 ½ tsp, crushed cream of tartar
- 30 g cocoa powder, dark
- 180 g sugar
- 4 m.-sized eggs
- 100 ml buttermilk
- 3 tbsp liqueur (chocolate, cassis, cherry, etc.)
- 200 g applesauce
- 100 g dark chocolate coating

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Heat the applesauce over low heat and melt the finely chopped chocolate coating in it; then let it cool. Beat the eggs and sugar in a food processor for 5 minutes until creamy. Gradually stir in the chocolate applesauce. Mix the flour with the cocoa and baking powder and stir in alternately with the buttermilk and liqueur. Line a baking pan or shallow casserole dish (30 x 20 cm) with parchment paper, spread the mixture evenly and smooth it down. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C/F on the middle rack for 35-40 minutes. Do the toothpick test.
