Bruschetta with tomato

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of ciabatta
  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 tomatoes, ripe
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Heat olive oil in a pan and toast the bread slices on both sides until crispy. Peel the garlic and slice thinly. Blanch the tomatoes, peel and deseed them, and cut into small pieces. Arrange the bread slices on 4 plates. Place the garlic slices on each slice, then pile the tomato pieces on top. Season generously with salt and pepper. Chop the basil leaves slightly and scatter them over the bread. Drizzle a few drops of olive oil over each slice and serve immediately.
