Bruschetta with tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g tomatoes
  • 8 slice(s) baguette(s), toasted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp basil, finely chopped
  • ½ garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • Pepper, from the mill
  • Salt
  • chili flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the tomatoes in boiling water for 10 seconds, peel, and remove the seeds. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Sauté the garlic in a little olive oil and stir into the tomatoes. Season with basil, some chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Spread the mixture onto the toasted white bread slices, then bake the bruschetta for about 5 minutes at 220 degrees Celsius.
