Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Baltic dessert

Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Bring the milk to a boil, then combine the beaten eggs with the flour and a little milk. Add to the remaining milk, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and then pour into a bowl. Alternatively, you can separate the eggs, use the yolks as described above, beat the egg whites until stiff, and fold them into the mixture at the end. This goes well with a fruit sauce or compote.
