Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 250 g breakfast bacon
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 300 g sausage (Krakauer)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 2 cans of white beans
  • 250 g yogurt
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Fry the bacon until crispy and tear into pieces. Briefly fry the sliced ​​Krakauer (sausages) with the onions. Add the coarsely chopped onions. Combine all ingredients, except the yogurt, in a large pot and simmer for 60 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in the yogurt just before the end and serve. It goes well with just a baguette. But if you prefer, you can also serve it with rice or pasta.
