Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 250 g breakfast bacon
- 3 garlic cloves
- 300 g sausage (Krakauer)
- 2 onions
- 1 can of tomatoes
- 2 cans kidney beans
- 2 cans of white beans
- 250 g yogurt
- 1 tsp thyme
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp paprika powder
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Fry the bacon until crispy and tear into pieces. Briefly fry the sliced Krakauer (sausages) with the onions. Add the coarsely chopped onions. Combine all ingredients, except the yogurt, in a large pot and simmer for 60 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in the yogurt just before the end and serve. It goes well with just a baguette. But if you prefer, you can also serve it with rice or pasta.
