Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 4 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 500 g tomatoes, fresh, diced
  • 1 can beans, red
  • 1 can of corn
  • e.g. tomato(s), pureed
  • e.g. processed cheese
  • n. B. Gouda, young, grated
  • some crème fraîche
  • 1 dash of cream
  • Instant vegetable broth
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 dash of chili powder
  • BBQ sauce, preferably Bulls-Eye BBQ sauce “smoky”

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Brown the ground beef with tomato paste and chopped garlic cloves. Then add the diced tomatoes, beans, corn, and passata. Simmer for at least 30 minutes. Finally, add the remaining ingredients and bring back to a boil briefly to melt the cheese. Pasta and grated Parmesan complete the dish. A fine green salad is a must, of course.
