Bulgur rice

Melt the margarine and butter, then add the 2 cups of bulgur wheat, season with salt and pepper. Brown slightly, add 3 cups of water (season to taste), and bring to a boil with the lid closed. Reduce the heat to very low and let it swell. Close the lid. Place a clean kitchen towel over the pot. Tip: If you like, you can cook the bulgur wheat with diced onions or beef, potatoes, or tomato paste. Fry the finely chopped onions in oil until golden brown. Brown 1/2 tablespoon of tomato paste with the margarine/butter. Cook the meat beforehand and fry it with the margarine/butter.
