Bundt Cake with Chocolate Chips

The perfect bundt cake with chocolate chips recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Soft butter
  • 300 g Sugar white
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Lemon peel
  • 4 Free range eggs
  • 2 Pinches Salt
  • 250 g Cream
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 200 Milliliters Milk
  • 200 g Chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Separate the eggs and set the egg whites aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir the softened butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Stir in the lemon zest. Add the egg yolk, a pinch of salt and the cream and stir in well. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in two portions.
  3. Add the chocolate drops to the batter and stir in. Stir in the milk. Beat the egg white with a pinch of salt until stiff and fold in. Pour the dough into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
  4. Place the cake in the (fan-assisted) oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for approx. 55 – 60 minutes. (Stick sample) After the baking time, take it out of the oven and let it cool down in the mold.
  5. Turn the cooled cake out onto a cake plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
