  • 1 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 Vanilla sugar
  • 125 g Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 50 g Chocolate chips


  • Mix the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and sift into a mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients (melt butter) and mix with a whisk to a smooth, supple dough. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Grease the Gugelhupfform, powder with a little semolina or ground almonds and then pour in the batter. Bake in the preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 50 minutes. Make a chopstick test.
