Ingredients for 2 servings:
- ½ bell pepper(s), red
- 0.05 pepper(s), yellow
- 1 m.-large onion(s), red
- 1 m.-large shallot(s)
- 200 g bacon
- 200 g bratwurst (butcher’s bratwurst)
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch(s) sweet paprika powder
- 1 pinch(s) of paprika powder, hot
- 1 pinch of garlic salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Preheat the grill thoroughly. Wash the bell peppers. Peel and quarter the onions. Dice the bell peppers and bacon. Cut the butcher’s sausage into 3 cm thick slices. Alternate the sausage, bacon, bell peppers, onions, and/or shallots on the skewers. Mix the sunflower oil, lemon juice, and paprika and brush the skewers with it. Grill the skewers for 10 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes. Remove from the grill and season with garlic salt.
