Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g potatoes, floury
- Salt
- 150 ml milk
- 3 tbsp butter
- nutmeg

Peel and wash the potatoes, then cut into equal-sized pieces. Cover and cook in salted water for about 18 minutes. Drain the potatoes and allow to evaporate thoroughly. Mash the potatoes with a masher or potato ricer until smooth. Heat the milk and whisk thoroughly. Add the butter. Season to taste with salt and, if desired, nutmeg.
