Buttermilk cheese bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g flour
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 20 g parsley, frozen
  • 200 g Gouda, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

without yeast

Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt with a dough hook. Add the buttermilk and honey and continue mixing. Finally, add the parsley and Gouda cheese and mix thoroughly until a heavy, sticky dough forms. Knead the dough again on a floured surface and divide into two pieces. Shape each piece into a loaf. Score the bread lengthwise with a sharp knife and lightly dust with flour. Bake the bread at 175 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for 40 minutes. Tastes wonderful spread with herb butter.
