The perfect buttermilk – cold bowl … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Fresh lime
- 150 Milliliters Buttermilk
- 50 g Yogurt
- 20 g Whipped cream
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- Some fresh ginger
- 0,5 disc Toast
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon Brown sugar
- Ground some ginger
- Lemon balm fresh
- Squeeze the lime. Mix the buttermilk with the yoghurt, cream, lime juice and vanilla sugar with the mixer. Finely grate some ginger and stir in. Refrigerate.
- Cut toast bread into small cubes. Melt the butter in a pan. Put the sugar and bread cubes in the pan. Sprinkle some ginger on top. Fry the bread cubes until crispy. Remove from the pan and let cool down a little on kitchen paper.
- Take the cold bowl out of the refrigerator. Lather up with the food processor and pour into a deep plate. Spread the crispy croutons on top. Garnish with lemon balm.
