Buttermilk – Cold Bowl …

The perfect buttermilk – cold bowl … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Fresh lime
  • 150 Milliliters Buttermilk
  • 50 g Yogurt
  • 20 g Whipped cream
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • Some fresh ginger
  • 0,5 disc Toast
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Brown sugar
  • Ground some ginger
  • Lemon balm fresh
  1. Squeeze the lime. Mix the buttermilk with the yoghurt, cream, lime juice and vanilla sugar with the mixer. Finely grate some ginger and stir in. Refrigerate.
  2. Cut toast bread into small cubes. Melt the butter in a pan. Put the sugar and bread cubes in the pan. Sprinkle some ginger on top. Fry the bread cubes until crispy. Remove from the pan and let cool down a little on kitchen paper.
  3. Take the cold bowl out of the refrigerator. Lather up with the food processor and pour into a deep plate. Spread the crispy croutons on top. Garnish with lemon balm.
