Buttermilk mixed bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 250 g rye flour
  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • 15 g salt
  • 25 g yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Knead all ingredients into a dough for about 5 minutes. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes, then shape it into a loaf and place it in a bread basket. Let it rise for another 30-40 minutes. Turn the loaf out onto a baking sheet and score it. Bake at 230°C (450°F) for about 40 minutes.
