Buttermilk raisin bread

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 375 ml buttermilk
  • 500 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 1 packet of yeast (dry yeast)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 8 tbsp raisins
  • 1 dashes lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 2 minutes

for the bread maker

Pour the buttermilk into the bread maker’s pan. Add the flour and remaining ingredients. Select the standard program for white and mixed bread. Program time, including resting and baking, is approximately 3 hours. After baking, remove from the pan and let cool. Delicious with or without toppings (e.g., butter and jam).
