Butternut squash fries

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 small butternut squash
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. garlic powder
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • n. B. herbs, e.g. basil

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

low in calories, a very good alternative to conventional fries

Peel the pumpkin and cut it lengthwise. Scoop out the core with a spoon. Cut the pumpkin into long strips, which can be halved again if desired to create fries. Place the cut strips in a bowl and toss with oil and seasoning, ensuring each strip gets a little. Bake in the oven at approximately 200°C for approximately 40-50 minutes, until the fries are crispy.
