Cabbage noodles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta
  • ½ kg white cabbage
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Pasta with white cabbage

Cook the pasta as usual until al dente. Cut the cabbage into coarse strips and dice the onion. Sauté both in oil for 8 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Deglaze with the broth and vinegar, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes. Before serving, stir in the drained pasta, heat through, and season to taste. This serves four people.
