Cake: Bruni’s Cheesecake
The perfect cake: bruni’s cheesecake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Butter at room temperature
- 400 g Sugar
- 5 Organic egg yolks
- 5 Beaten egg whites
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- Bio lemon zest
- 0,5 Lemon juice
- 2 packet Vanilla pudding
- 2 lb Layer cheese fat level
- Mix the room temperature butter with the sugar and egg yolk well.
- Add baking powder, lemon zest and lemon juice.
- Now add ONLY the vanilla pudding powder.
- Gradually fold in the layered cheese and stir well.
- Finally, put the whipped egg whites underneath.
- Grease a baking pan (28cm diameter) well and, depending on your taste, sprinkle with breadcrumbs or ground hazelnuts (including the sides).
- Preheat the oven to 160 ° C and bake the cake pan on the middle rack for about 1 1/4 hours. Every now and then check with a wooden stick whether the dough sticks. If not, the cake is ready.
- Open the oven door only slightly (secure it with a wooden spoon handle) and let it cool down. So it does not collapse, with a lot of luck.
- Unfortunately, that didn’t work out for us. But it doesn’t matter, it tastes really delicious, like with little sister.
