Cake: My Fruitcake

The perfect cake: my fruitcake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Dried fruit
  • 100 g Trail mix exotic
  • 0,5 liter Organic apple juice
  • 4 Double Plum liqueur *
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 40 g Raw cane sugar
  • 40 g Caramel syrup
  • Or sugar beet syrup
  • 300 g Spelled flour
  • 100 g Coconut flour
  • 100 g Chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 tbsp Ginger bread spice
  • 2 tsp Tartar baking powder
  1. * Liqueurs & Co: plum liqueur in 2011
  2. Chop the dried fruit and soak in the liqueur for about 1-2 hours. Then add the apple juice and let it steep for another hour.
  3. Mix the eggs with the syrup – you can also use honey – and the sugar until foamy, gradually add the other ingredients, then add the bowl with the soaked dried fruit and the chopped nuts, stir everything well and put in an oiled dish .
  4. Bake the whole thing in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 70 to 80 minutes.
  5. 5th! If children also eat the bread, then leave out the alcohol and replace it with a little more juice!
