California Rice Salad

The perfect california rice salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 packet Rice cooked parboiled
  • 1 Pc. Orange / orange
  • 4 Pc. Fresh kumquats
  • 2 disc Pineapple canned food
  • 10 Pc. European walnuts
  • 10 Pc. Peanuts fresh
  • 70 g Sugar
  • 5 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Chilli powder
  1. Cut beautiful fillets out of the orange and place in a glass bowl. Squeeze out the rest of the juice with use.
  2. Wash the kumquats, cut into slices and place in the bowl.
  3. Cut the pineapple into pieces and place in the bowl.
  4. Open the nuts, remove the shells, break the walnuts and place them in the bowl.
  5. Sprinkle on the sugar and mix in the lemon juice.
  6. Fold in rice (cooked with salt) when cooled.
  7. Can also be used as a light dinner. Season to taste.
